'Dangerous' suspect arrested - cops
Fredericton Police Force sought tips on whereabouts of Gage DeGrace-Whitlock, 18
The 18-year-old Fredericton man whom police sought as part of an investigation and who was described as dangerous and possibly armed has been arrested, the city police force announced Monday.
The force issued an alert through social media Saturday night, announcing it was on the lookout for Gage DeGrace-Whitlock, 18, “in relation to an ongoing investigation.”
DeGrace-Whitlock was described as being about 5’10” tall, weighing 140 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a black rain jacket, black pants and brown shoes.
“If seen, please do not approach as DeGrace-Whitlock may be armed and is considered dangerous,” the advisory said. “Dial 911 immediately.”
In an update Monday afternoon, the force announced DeGrace-Whitlock had been located and apprehended.
“He was arrested without incident earlier today,” it said on social media Monday.
