Cops release pix of missing man’s car
Michael Keetch, 48, of Waasis, hasn’t been seen in about one month, Mounties report
A Waasis man whom RCMP reported as missing earlier this month may be driving a red Elantra, and police released photos of the car and plate Fridayt.
The Oromocto detachment of the RCMP issued a news release May 1, hoping members of the public could provide information on the whereabouts of Michael Keetch, 48, of Waasis.
“Michael Keetch was last seen on April 12, 2025, on Nevers Road in Waasis,” it said. “He was reported missing to police on April 30, 2025.”
It said officers have followed up on several leads but as yet hadn’t found him. Police and his family are concerned for the missing man’s well-being, it said.
In an update Friday, the RCMP provided additional information about a vehicle in which Keetch might be travelling.
“Police have now obtained a photo of the vehicle that Michael Keetch may be driving,” it said.
“The vehicle is described as a red 2019 Hyundai Elantra with New Brunswick licence plate JTZ 034.”

Keetch is described as being about 6’2” (191 centimetres) tall, weighing about 253 pounds (115 kilograms), with green eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
