Cops offer new info on missing Geary woman
Leslie Dawn Boyd, 27, hasn’t been seen in more than one year; RCMP renews public plea for tips, releasing new photos, details about investigation & man she might be accompanying
It’s been a full year since anyone close to Leslie Dawn Boyd has heard from her, and police investigating her disappearance renewed their request for tips from the public Thursday.
Boyd, now 27, formerly of Geary, was last seen at a business in downtown Fredericton on Oct. 22, 2023, and someone last spoke with her the afternoon of Nov. 7, 2023, the RCMP reported previously.
She was reported as missing to police Nov. 16, 2023, and in a new advisory Thursday, the Oromocto detachment said the investigation and efforts to find Boyd have been ongoing since that time.

“Police have received new information and believe Leslie Boyd could be travelling with 31-year-old Brady Storey, of Geary, N.B.,” the RCMP stated on social media Thursday morning.
“Police are also searching for a camper trailer in connection with the investigation, described as a white trailer with a blue door located towards the back of the trailer.”
The updated release also noted that Boyd may have been with her dog - a German Shepherd named Leo - at the time she went missing, and the Oromocto detachment released photos of both the camper and the canine.
Anyone with information on Boyd’s or Storey’s whereabouts or that could help lead to her being found is urged to call the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
Those wishing to provide tips anonymously can do so through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477, by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App or submitting them through Secure Web Tips online at www.crimenb.ca.
Shortly before Boyd went missing, she and Storey were both charged with serious offences alleging the illegal 3D-printing of firearms.

They’re accused of manufacturing 3D-printed handguns and handgun frames without authorization; possessing those 3D-printed items with intent to transfer them; possessing prohibited 3D-printed firearms with readily accessible ammunition; possessing a revolver and two 3D-printed handguns without a licence; possessing those firearms without a licence or registration certificate; possessing prohibited weapons (five sets of brass knuckles); and possessing prohibited devices (an auto-conversion kit and six overcapacity ammo magazines), all in Geary on June 20, 2023.
Though the couple made a couple of initial appearances on those counts last year, the pair failed to attend Fredericton provincial court Nov. 8, 2023, to elect mode of trial and enter pleas. As a result, a judge issued warrants for their arrest, which are still outstanding.

Storey and Boyd also each face a count of failing to attend court on that date.
It was a month after that failure to show up in court that the Oromocto detachment of the RCMP issued its initial missing-person alert about Boyd. It made no mention of Storey at that time.
At the time, Boyd was described as being about 5’7” (170 centimetres) tall, weighing about 170 pounds (77 kilograms), with green eyes and long brown hair.
She has a tattoo of a heart behind her ear and one of a cat on her back, and she has a nose piercing.
Family members have been active on social media, pleading for information on Boyd’s whereabouts and circulating additional photos that show her with purple hair.
