Convicted killer no-show in court
Joe-Anna Hachey, 31, of no fixed address, who served prison time for manslaughter for 2017 fatal shooting in Lincoln, now stands accused of new charges alleging petty crimes
A Fredericton woman who did time in federal prison for manslaughter faces new but minor charges, but she didn’t show up in court this week as required.
Joe-Anna Hachey, 31, of no fixed address, was scheduled to make her first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday to answer to May 25 charges of mischief causing damage to a 2020 Ford F150 belonging to Cameron Wade and breach of probation, both in Fredericton.
However, when Judge Mélanie Poirier LeBlanc called her case, Hachey wasn’t present.
