Fredericton police turned to public for help in locating 16-year-old missing for fifth time
A Fredericton teenager whom police reported as missing earlier in April and who disappeared again the same month has been found, the city police force reports.
The Fredericton Police Force issued a call through social media April 22 for tips from the public on the whereabouts of a 16-year-old Fredericton youth.
It noted that efforts have been made to find the teen but to no avail.
It marked the fifth time in five months Fredericton police have announced the teenager as missing. It had previously issued similar alerts in late December, mid-January, mid-February and earlier in April.
In an update posted May 8, the police force advised the youth had been located and it thanked the public for its assistance.

If she keeps leaving the family home, someone should be looking ito that. If she is "in the system" and at either a halfway house or in foster care, they obviuously need to be keeping a closer eye on her, and eliminating what ever means she is escaping that location. I am sorry, but parents need to be parents. Also, as this habitual behavior of running away keeps occuring, I no longer care to be looking about when I am runnig around town. Once - fine, twice - OK, after that... someone needs to be fixing the problem.
