City woman accused of peddling fentanyl
Anne Victoria Martin-McKay, 49, charged with possessing opioid for trafficking purposes
A Fredericton woman was freed on custody on a judicial release order Thursday on charges alleging drug-trafficking activity.
Anne Victoria Martin-McKay, 49, of Union Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from the Fredericton police station cellblock Thursday morning.
She’s accused of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of morphine and possession of $545 Cdn believed to be the proceeds of crime, all alleged to have occurred in Fredericton on Jan. 30.
