A Fredericton man who denied criminal charges Wednesday of dangerous driving and breaking into a Maugerville home ended up in custody on a warrant from another jurisdiction.
John Irving Somerville, 59, of Canada Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday to answer to two criminal charges and one count under the provincial Motor Vehicle Act.
The defendant stands accused of breaking into the Route 105 residence of Raymond Duplisea with intent to commit an indictable offence, dangerous driving and driving while his licence was suspended, all in Maugerville on Jan. 1.
