City man almost 3 times over legal limit
Police got alert that Troy Glenn Wells, 54, left microbrewery in truck after drinks March 23
A Fredericton man was barred from driving for the next year after a court heard he had almost three times the legal limit of booze in his system following a visit to a northside watering hole.
Troy Glenn Wells, 54, of Crestline Drive, pleaded guilty in Fredericton provincial court Monday to a charge of having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving.
Crown prosecutor Kyle Horsman said the charge arose after the Fredericton Police Force received a call about a possibly impaired driver leaving Trailway Brewing on Main Street at about 7:05 p.m. March 23.
