City man accused of transmitting child porn
Travis Carrier, 36, of Fredericton, seeks adjournment to apply for counsel through legal aid
A Fredericton man is set to return to court later this month to elect mode of trial and enter pleas on several charges alleging offences involving child pornography.
Travis Carrier, 36, of Rookwood Avenue, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Thursday, set to answer to serious charges laid by the New Brunswick RCMP’s internet child exploitation (ICE) unit.

The defendant is accused of two counts of communicating online with a person he believed to be under the age of 16 between Dec. 11 and 17 to facilitate a child-pornography offence and to facilitate an invitation to a minor to touch him for a sexual purpose.
