One of two wanted men arrested
Canada-wide warrants out for John Wilchuk, 32, and Joseph Breau, 27, reports Fredericton Police Force, seeking tips to locate them, warning members of public not to approach them
The Fredericton Police Force issued public pleas Saturday for information on the whereabouts of two wanted men, but it also warned people to keep their distance from them.
The force issued two advisories on social media Saturday about two men it said are wanted on Canada-wide warrants.
The first was Joseph Breau, 27, who’s described as being about 5’10” tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and various tattoos.
However, in an update Sunday afternoon, the Fredericton Police Force advised Breau had been located and arrested, and he remains in custody.
The other individual, police said, is John Wilchuk, 32, described as being about 5’10” tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Both advisories noted that if people spot either of them, they shouldn’t approach them.
The alerts were issued separately but within a couple of minutes of one another, so it’s unclear if the two men or their warrants are connected.
Anyone with information on Wilchuk’s whereabouts or that could lead to him being located is urged to contact the Fredericton Police Force by calling 506-460-2300 or emailing steve.burgess@fredericton.ca.
