Chelsea Sacobie located again
Fredericton woman, reported as missing repeatedly in past year, found, police now report
A Fredericton woman who was reported as missing on seven prior occasions only to disappear again late last month has been found, city police report.
The Fredericton Police Force issued an advisory on social media Saturday announcing that Chelsea Sacobie, 31, of Fredericton, was missing, and it was seeking the public’s help in tracking her down.
She’d last been seen on Fredericton’s south side on April 23, the release said.
But in an update posted Sunday afternoon, the Fredericton Police Force advised Sacobie had been found.
“She's been safely located,” it said, thanking the public for its assistance.
The city police force has issued seven such missing-person alerts for Sacobie previously over the past year, the most recent being in early March. This latest instance marked the eighth such reported involving the same woman.
No explanation has been offered for her repeated disappearances.
