A Cambridge-Narrows woman who went missing in the community Tuesday has been found, the RCMP reports.
The Oromocto detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Tuesday night, reporting that Shelly Jones, 54, of Cambridge-Narrows - about 65 kilometres east of Fredericton - was missing.
“Shelly Jones was last seen on Oct. 8, at approximately 7 p.m., in the area of Scenic Narrows Boulevard in Cambridge Narrows. She was reported missing to police the same day,” the release said.
“Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her well-being.”
But in a follow-up Wednesday morning, the Mounties advised Jones had been located and was safe.
