Burned worker sues former employer

Hollie Knox alleges in lawsuit that Ginger Beef food-truck owner Trevor Smith was negligent

A woman who sustained serious burns to her face, arms and legs is taking her former boss to court to seek unspecified financial damages.

Hollie Knox filed a notice of action and statement of claim in the Court of King’s Bench in Fredericton on May 24 against city resident Trevor Smith.

Smith is the owner of Ginger Beef, which operates a food truck as well as the canteen at the Capital Exhibit Centre on the New Brunswick Exhibition Grounds.
