An unhoused man who’s disputing his fitness to stand trial is now facing new charges that allege he assaulted two deputy sheriffs while he transports to or from jail for a court appearance.

Logan Bradley Fletcher, 23, of no fixed address, has been in custody since early June on an array of charges.

He’s accused of assaulting Michael Davis on May 23; uttering a threat to Jesse Dixon and carrying a weapon (a pipe) for a purpose dangerous to the public peace May 24; defrauding the Royal Barbershop on May 27; harassing Kerri Wortman by stalking her May 31; and assaulting a Fredericton police officer, threatening him and resisting arrest June 2.
