RCMP advises that as result of vehicle stop last week, officers seized variety of equipment, keys believed to have been stolen from rightful owners
The Mounties recovered a number of items suspected of being stolen loot as a result of a traffic stop last week, and the RCMP has released photos in an effort to find the rightful owner(s).
“On July 4, 2023, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a member of the Keswick RCMP detachment stopped a vehicle travelling on Route 102, in Upper Kingsclear,” the RCMP said in a news release issued Tuesday.
“As a result of the vehicle stop, police conducted a search of the vehicle and seized a number of items which are believed to be stolen.”
Among the items found are a Black and Decker table saw, a skill saw, a circular saw, an impact wrench, a drill machine, a red toolbox and several sets of keys.
Officers have yet to identify the owner(s) of the tools and keys, and the RCMP released photos of the seized items in an effort to locate the individual(s).
Anyone who recognizes any of the items as theirs, or those with information that could lead police to the owners, is urged to contact the Keswick detachment of the RCMP by calling 506-357-4300.
