Another no-show for former federal inmate

Arrest warrants have been issued twice this month for Joe-Anna Hachey, 31, of Fredericton

A Fredericton woman who missed a court date earlier this month did so again on another set of outstanding charges Monday. 

Joe-Anna Hachey, 31, of Irvine Street, was supposed to be in Fredericton provincial court Monday to elect mode of trial and enter pleas to July 27 counts of stealing a 2008 Mazda Tribute belonging to Shawn Marie Moore, driving while suspended and breaching probation, as well as an April 23 charge of breaching her probation by failing to report to a probation officer.

But when Judge Natalie LeBlanc called the case Monday, the defendant wasn’t present.
