Woman charged in Tim Hortons arson case
Tiffany Johnston, 33, of Fredericton, arrested Friday after Jan. 28 incident on north side
Fredericton police have arrested a suspect in connection with a deliberately set fire at a northside coffee shop, and she’s due to appear in court Monday for a bail hearing.
The Fredericton Police Force issued a news release Sunday evening about an investigation into a reported case of arson on the capital’s north side last week.

At approximately 2:50 a.m. on [Jan. 28], officers responded to a call for service at the Tim Hortons located on Union Street,” it said.
“In consultation with Fredericton Fire Department investigators, the fire was determined to have been intentionally set, causing damage to the building.”
The force said officers had arrested a suspect - Tiffany Johnston, 33, of Fredericton - and charged her during weekend remand court with a count of arson.
She’s scheduled to appear in Fredericton provincial court Monday for a bail hearing.
