Woman admits to funny-money crimes
Danielle Jean Kerr, 37, of no fixed address, to be sentenced Jan. 8 for having bogus bills
A woman scheduled to stand trial Wednesday on charges of possessing and passing counterfeit cash in the Fredericton area opted instead to admit to some of the counts against her.
Danielle Jean Kerr, 37, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday for trial on numerous charges, most of which stemming from involvement with counterfeit money.
However, prosecutor Jennifer Bueno told Judge Lyne Raymond on Wednesday that the Crown and defence had reached a resolution in the case, with the defendant set to plead guilty to some offences.
