An Astle woman is set to return to court next month to answer to serious charges alleging she sexually abused an underage complainant and produced pornography of that person several years ago.
Michelle Elaine Davis, 41, of Route 8 in Astle, about 60 kilometres north of Fredericton, made her initial appearance in Fredericton provincial court Monday.
She’s accused of touching a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose in Fredericton; making child sexual-abuse and exploitation material of that minor in Fredericton and elsewhere in New Brunswick; and possessing that child-pornography material in Fredericton and elsewhere in the province.
