A Waasis man was irked Monday to hear that a doctor had deemed him unfit to stand trial on numerous charges, mostly against members of his own family, as he was remanded to a psychiatric facility.

Carl Robert Ellis, 56, of Cass Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody by video conference Monday for a fitness hearing.
