Uptown shop gets unwanted drive-thru
No one was injured in accident that saw vehicle strike M&M Meat Shop location, say police
One food-retail worker might have a considerable beef with a motorist after a vehicle drove through the front of an uptown Fredericton business Wednesday afternoon.

The Fredericton Police Force, in a news release issued Wednesday afternoon, said officers, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the Village Centre, a strip business facility formerly known as the Blockbuster plaza, at the corner of Regent and Priestman streets at about 3 p.m. that day.
The call came in as a collision, but it turned out to be a car stuck in the front facade of the M&M Meat Shop at that location.
“One employee was inside the business at the time and was not injured,” the release said. “The driver also sustained no injuries.”
The police force said the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
