Transient denies sexually abusing minor
Dustin Mitchell Hill, 39, pleads not guilty to sexually assaulting, touching girl in May 2022
A homeless man will stand trial in the spring of 2027, having denied indictable charges that he sexually assaulted a girl and touched her sexually almost four years ago.
Dustin Mitchell Hill, 39, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Thursday, accompanied by defence counsel Edward Derrah to answer to indictable charges.
Derrah said his client was electing to be tried in provincial court and pleading not guilty to counts of sexually assaulting an underage girl and touching her for a sexual purpose.
