Missing Taxis River woman found
Angela Marie Murray, 47, had been reported missing Tuesday, Doaktown RCMP reported
A woman from a rural area north of Fredericton went missing Tuesday, the RCMP reported as it sought tips, but in an update Thursday, the Mounties said she’d been found.
The Doaktown detachment of the RCMP issued a news release over the lunch hour Wednesday about Angela Marie Murray, 47, of Taxis River, located about 70 kilometres north of Fredericton and about 30 km southwest of Doaktown.
“Angela Marie Murray was last seen on Dec. 2, 2025, at approximately 10 a.m. at a residence in Taxis River. She was reported missing to police later the same day,” the release said.
“Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her well-being.”
However, in an update posted at noon Thursday, the RCMP announced Murray “has been located safe,” and thanked the public for its assistance.
