A homeless Fredericton man hoping to be sentenced to time served for his illegal entries into two northside premises this spring instead learned Thursday his time behind bars would continue.

Joshua Daniel Grant Burden, 49, of no fixed address, was in Fredericton provincial court in custody Thursday for sentencing.

He’d previously pleaded guilty to a May 12 count of break and enter, and May 13 counts of unlawful entry and possession of stolen property.
