A Fredericton man accused of sexual assault in the summer of 2024 might represent himself at trial, court heard Wednesday.

Paul Hampton, 31, of Wilsey Road, was back in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday to answer to an Aug. 5, 2024, charge of sexual assault alleged to have occurred in Fredericton.

A court-ordered publication ban prohibits the dissemination of information that could tend to identify the complainant.
