A Fredericton woman who didn’t attend court as required earlier this month was released on a judicial release order following a bail hearing Thursday.

Katherine Elizabeth McIntyre, 36, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video conference from the New Brunswick Women’s Correctional Centre in Miramichi for a bail hearing Thursday.

She faces charges of breaching an order under the Sex Offender Information Registration Act (SOIRA) on June 20, 2024, by failing to report a change of address to the registration centre; breaching the registration order again Aug. 16, 2024, by failing to report to the registration centre for an annual check-in; and shoplifting at the Atlantic Superstore on Main Street on Nov. 16.
