Robert (“Robbie”) Keith MacDonald, 49, of no fixed address, was brought to Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Thursday for the latest in a long series of appearances, scheduled to elect mode of trial and enter pleas to numerous charges from last year.

The most serious of those charges allege he sexually assaulted a minor, invited that complainant to touch him for a sexual purpose, touched the child for a sexual purpose and breached his probation in the process, all on Aug. 10 in Fredericton.
