Oromocto theft suspect ID'd - RCMP
Police released pics of tattooed man sought for shoplifting in model-town store Sept. 27
The RCMP released photos this week of a suspect sought in a shoplifting investigation at an Oromocto store earlier this fall, and it announced Wednesday the man has been identified.
The Oromocto detachment of the RCMP issued a news release about a theft in the model town in late September.

“The theft occurred on Sept. 27, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., when an individual entered a business on Onondaga Street, took several items, then left the business without paying,” the release said.
The force released stills of surveillance footage of the man, seeking tips as to his identity, and in a followup post Wednesday afternoon, it announced it received the information it was seeking.
“The individual has since been identified,” the Oromocto detachment said in a followup release. “The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
