Environment and Climate Change Canada’s weather service issued a snowfall warning early Thursday morning for central and northern New Brunswick.

“Accumulations will vary considerably over short distances, as some areas may become mixed with rain this afternoon. Windy conditions can also be expected for some coastal areas.”
The weather warning said 15 to 25 centimetres could fall in the area over the course of the day.
“Similar storms in the past have caused difficult driving conditions and scattered utility outages,” it said.
