New round of charges for trafficking suspect
Dale Dunham, 36, of Hoyt, arrested on outstanding warrant, remanded for bail hearing
A Hoyt man accused of possessing narcotics for trafficking purposes six months ago has been arrested and faces a new round of similar charges alleged to have occurred this week.
An arrest warrant was issued for Dale Dunham, 36, of Mill Settlement Road in Hoyt, about 50 kilometres south of Fredericton, in late October after a court heard police believed he was in hiding, trying to avoid being served with a summons to appear in court.
At that time, he was facing June 5 counts of possessing fentanyl and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a weapon (bear mace) for the purpose of committing an offence, and possessing less than $5,000 in cash deemed to be the proceeds of crime, all purported to have been committed in Fredericton.
