N.B. woman missing since Dec. 1 - RCMP
Tips sought on whereabouts of Amanda Cronkhite, 38, of Edmundston, who was last near Woodstock almost two months ago but was only reported as missing to police Saturday
An Edmundston woman hasn’t been seen in almost two months after a sighting in the Woodstock area, the RCMP reports, but she was only reported as missing over the weekend.
The Western Valley region detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Monday morning about Amanda Cronkhite, 38, of Edmundston, reporting that the northern New Brunswick woman is missing.
“Amanda Cronkhite was last seen on Dec. 1, 2025, at a business on Route 555 in Bedell, N.B.,” near Woodstock, the release said.
“She was reported missing to police on Jan. 24, 2026.”
It said officers have pursued several leads but have come up empty thus far.
“Police and her family are concerned for her well-being,” the release said.
Cronkhite is described as being about 5’3” (160 centimetres) tall, weighing about 177 pounds (80 kilograms), with blue eyes and brown hair.
She has a tattoo of a heart with stars behind her right ear, a tattoo of a rose on her upper left arm and two tattoos saying ‘Peace’ and ‘Love’ across her wrists.
