A Fredericton man accused of killing a woman last month in the capital’s downtown area now has a lawyer, who asked for an adjournment Friday to get and review disclosure.

Aaron Jesse Rice, 45, of Argyle Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody and in person Friday morning.
The city police force charged him with second-degree murder a month ago in connection with the Sept. 7 death of Sonia Vivian Timbre, 42, of Fredericton.
