Murder prelim set for next fall
Court hears that Crown disclosure is ongoing process in case of Aaron Jesse Rice, 45, of Fredericton, who's accused of killing Sonia Vivian Timbre on Sept. 7 in downtown residence
A preliminary inquiry for a Fredericton man facing a second-degree murder charge in the Sept, 7 death of a woman in the downtown area will be held next fall, and he’ll remain in custody until that.

Aaron Jesse Rice, 45, of Argyle Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Thursday, and representing him in person in court was defence counsel Angèle Normand.
Rice is accused of second-degree murder in the Sept. 7 death of Sonia Vivan Timbre, 42, of Fredericton.
Timbre’s body was found in a downtown residence that day, as was Rice, who was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries, the Fredericton Police Force reported that same week.
