Mounties seek tips on stolen semi

Smokey’s looking for some tips on the whereabouts of some bandits who’ve made off with a big rig - or in other words, the RCMP is on the lookout for a stolen transport truck, taken from Minto earlier this month.
The Minto detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Friday after about an investigation into the theft of a transport.

“The theft is believed to have occurred on Oct. 7, 2025, at approximately 3:50 a.m., from a business on Industrial Park Road in the Minto Industrial Park,” it said.
The truck - which had no trailed attached when it was stolen - is a white 2013 Mack Truck CXU613, with New Brunswick licence plate PUX 166 - though the plate had been removed at the time it was stolen.
Its vehicle identification number is 1M1AW07Y1DM024756, the release said.
Anyone who has seen the transport since the early-morning hours of Oct.7 or who might have information that could aid the investigation is urged to call the Minto RCMP at 506-327-1820.
