Morning crash closes Nevers Road
RCMP reports collision downed power lines across road in Lincoln on Thursday morning
Morning commuters in the capital region will want to avoid Nevers Road in Lincoln on Thursday morning, as police report that an accident has downed power lines on the road.
The RCMP issued an advisory through social media shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday about an incident to which officers were responding in Lincoln.
“RCMP are currently on scene of a motor-vehicle crash on the 200 block of Nevers Road in Lincoln,” it said.
“The road is closed in this section due to downed power lines.”
Police advised motorists to use an alternate route.
