Misconduct allegations keep piling up against embattled Fredericton lawyer Stephen James Hill, as the provincial law society recently published a notice of complaint listing more than a dozen separate cases.

Hill, formerly of the law firm of Elliott McCrea Hill, found himself subject to a notice of suspension from the practice of law in February, as issued by the Law Society of New Brunswick.

At the time, the law society gave no reason for the suspension, but it published a full notice of complaint on its website last week, providing some context for the allegations against him.

The notice of complaint provides some details about 16 separate instances of alleged misconduct, though it doesn’t identify any of the clients affected.
