Missing Moncton girl located
15-year-old last seen in hub city Oct. 30, later spotted in Doaktown, 90 km northeast of Fredericton, the following week, has been found and is safe, RCMP reported Tuesday
A Moncton girl who went missing Oct. 30 and was later spotted in a rural community northeast of Fredericton a week later has been found and is OK, the RCMP reports.
The Codiac Regional RCMP issued a news release Nov. 1, seeking information from the public on the whereabouts a 15-year-old Moncton girl.
She’d last been seen on Mountain road in the hub city Oct. 30 and was reported as missing the same day.
On Nov. 7, the Codiac detachment issued an update, advising the girl had been spotted the day before in Doaktown, about 90 kilometres northeast of Fredericton and about 150 km northwest of Moncton.
But on Nov. 11, the Mounties reported the teen had been found.
“he 15-year-old girl from Moncton, N.B., who was reported missing to police on October 30, 2025, has been located safe,” it said on social media.
“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
