A Miramichi-area man in custody on drug-trafficking allegations arising out of Fredericton denied the charges Monday, and his trial was set for late this year and early in 2027.

Raymond Wilson Curtis, 41, of Route 118 in Gray Rapids, about 50 kilometres southwest of Miramichi, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Monday.
