Meth-trafficking trials set for 2026
Thayer Justin Osborne, 31, of Fredericton, denies drug-possession, firearms allegations
A Fredericton man in custody on allegations of meth possession for trafficking purposes on two occasions this year, as well as firearms offences, denied the charges Wednesday.
Thayer Justin Osborne, 31, of Regent Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone Wednesday from a custodial facility, and his defence counsel - lawyer Carson Rehn - also joined the proceedings by phone.
Rehn said his client was electing to be tried in provincial court and pleading not guilty to a May 30 count of possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking in Fredericton, and another identical charge alleged to have occurred July 28, also in the capital.
