McAdam man dead after crash - RCMP
Two-vehicle collision over lunch hour Tuesday resulted in death of 45-year-old motorcyclist
A two-vehicle collision between an all-terrain vehicle and a motorcycle that tied up traffic in McAdam on Tuesday also led to the death of the village man riding the bike, the RCMP reports.
The RCMP issued an advisory Tuesday afternoon to inform the public that Saunders Road in McAdam was closed near the 100 block of the village street due to a collision, and motorists were directed to avoid the area.
In a followup release Wednesday, police revealed it was a two-vehicle collision that led to a man’s death.
“On Oct. 14, 2025, at approximately 12:36 p.m., members of the McAdam RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Saunders Street in the community,” it stated, noting that it was a side-by-side and motorcycle that collided.
“The driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle, a 45-year-old man from McAdam, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the side-by-side was transferred to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
In addition to Mounties, personnel with the McAdam Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick and the New Brunswick coroner’s office attended the scene to assist, the release said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, the McAdam detachment said, noting that an RCMP traffic reconstructionist is involved as well.
