Manslaughter suspect opts for jury trial
Lucas D. LeClair, 31, of Keswick Ridge - who’s accused of killing Josh Crouse at his Lower Hainesville home July 21 - elects to proceed to superior court, waives preliminary inquiry
A Keswick Ridge man accused of manslaughter in another man’s death in Lower Hainesville this summer will have a jury decide his fate.
Lucas D. LeClair, 31, of Tripp Settlement Road, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday, accompanied by lawyer Emily Cochrane, who was acting as an agent for his defence counsel, T.J. Burke.
LeClair faces a July 21 count of manslaughter, stemming from the sudden death of Josh Crouse at his home in Lower Hainesville.
