Samantha Mary Butler cried quietly in a courtroom prisoner’s dock as she listened to the loved ones of the man whose fatal shooting she witnessed and abetted poured out their pain for all to hear Tuesday.
Butler, 24, of Karen Drive of Rusagonis, appeared before Court of King’s Bench Justice Richard Petrie at the Burton Courthouse on Tuesday for a sentencing hearing.
She pleaded guilty in November to a charge of accessory to manslaughter after the fact, stemming from the March 12, 2023, shooting of Lucas Richard Solomon Polchies.
