Lake George booze bandits identified
Keswick RCMP released photos of suspects sought in November shoplifting investigations
The women pictured in store-security stills that were released earlier this month by police as part of investigations into two liquor thefts in Lake George have been identified, the RCMP reports.
The Keswick detachment of the RCMP issued two news releases in early December about investigations it was conducting into Nov. 4 and 12 thefts at a Lake George store.

On both occasions, two suspects, both apparently women, entered a business on Route 635 and took several items, including alcohol, and left without paying.
The Mounties released photos of the suspects from both incidents, and while they bore striking resemblances to one another from the two thefts, police didn’t indicate if they believed they were the same people.

The photos and the public pleas for information about the suspects appear to have yielded results.
“The individuals involved in these files have been identified,” the Keswick RCMP detachment said in a followup release Wednesday morning.
It thanked the public for its assistance with the investigations.
There was no indication if or when the suspects might be facing charges in court.
