Michael John Stevenson, 24, of Upper Temperance Vale Road in Temperance Vale, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday for his first appearance on several charges alleged to have occurred this summer.

He’s accused of assaulting Melissa Comeau with a weapon (a 2015 Dodge Durango), driving while impaired by alcohol, refusing a breath demand and driving dangerously, all in Keswick Ridge on Aug. 10.
