Homeless man remanded after bail hearing
Andrew Derek Washburn, 33, accused of assault, trespassing in Kings Place downtown
A homeless man who was jailed earlier this year for various crimes, including public indecency, finds himself in custody yet again, this time accused of assault and violating orders to stay out of a downtown mall.
Andrew Derek Washburn, 33, whose address is listed in court records as Reynolds Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Thursday for a bail hearing.
He faces an Oct. 28 count of assault on Elya Surur; and Oct. 7, 20, 22 and 26 counts of breach of probation by attending Kings Place when prohibited from doing so.
