A young Fredericton man accused of breaking into a woman’s northside home Friday morning and assaulting her was released from custody Monday on conditions following a bail hearing.

Anthony Todd Paul Jr., 21, of Gabe Atwin Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video conference from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Monday afternoon.

He was charged with break and enter, as well as assault causing bodily harm to Destiny Paul, and his Monday proceeding was for a bail hearing.
