A Fredericton man accused of going for a cop’s sidearm last summer and of assaulting a woman this month complained Tuesday about how an electronic-monitoring ankle bracelet is limiting his movements.

Tyson Maurice Sacobie, 38, of Epworth Circle, was back in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday, scheduled to elect mode of trial and enter pleas to four indictable charges.

The Fredericton Police Force has accused him of attempting to take a firearm from Const. Olivier Gallant, uttering threats to him and resisting Gallant and Const. Eric Cassista on Aug. 2; and of assaulting Kaylee Allen on Jan. 8.
