Keswick RCMP detachment seeks tips on four golf carts that were stolen in July, October
The Mounties are investigating after two suspects stole a pair of vehicles from the Mactaquac area last month, but the perps wouldn’t have fled the scene any faster than 24 clicks per hour.
The Keswick detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Tuesday that officers are seeking information from the public about two “persons of interest” believed to have stolen from a Mactaquac business last month.

“The theft occurred on Oct. 24, 2024, at approximately 12:37 a.m., at a business on Golf Course Drive in Mactaquac,” the release said.
“Two individuals gained entry to a storage facility and each stole a golf cart.”
The golf carts are described as navy blue 2024 Club Car Tempo Lithium-Ion, bearing numbers 17 and 61.
The detachment also noted that two other golf carts were stolen from the same location July 22. Those carts were numbered 27 and 53, the release said.

The RCMP released still pictures from security footage from Oct. 24, though the images weren’t high resolution. Police said they’re hoping someone might be able to provide information based on the blurry photos.
Anyone with information that could aid the investigation is urged to call the Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300.
Those wishing to provide tips anonymously can do so through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477, by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App or submitting them through Secure Web Tips online at www.crimenb.ca.
The investigation is ongoing, the release said.
