Gagetown man accused of firing rifle
Willard Timothy Gosman, 22, remanded after bail hearing last month on firearm charges
A Gagetown-area man will remain in custody pending the outcome of charges against him - including an allegation he threatened another man and fired a rifle at him a month ago.
Willard Timothy Gosman, 22, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody early last month to face various indictable charges, alleging Feb. 6 events in Elm Hill, located about 80 kilometres southeast of Fredericton.
He’s accused of intentionally discharging a firearm (a rifle) while being reckless as to the life or safety of Brandon McIntyre, uttering threats to McIntyre to cause him death and/or bodily harm, possessing the rifle without a licence and knowing he didn’t have a licence for it, using the rifle in a careless manner, possessing it for a purpose dangerous to the public peace and violating a regulation regarding the storage and transport of firearms.
