Free parking Christmas Eve
City of Fredericton once again offers last-minute shoppers reprieve in downtown area
In what’s been an annual tradition in Fredericton, city hall is waiving all parking fees in the downtown core for those scrambling to shop for holiday gifts at the 11th hour.

The City of Fredericton announced Tuesday morning that parking in the downtown area will be free Wednesday, Christmas Eve.
The initiative aims to give people a break from parking fees and also to encourage people to support local businesses.
“Take the stress out of shopping local and enjoy the season without worrying about meters,” the city said on social media Tuesday morning.

What a complete waste... most of the businesses close EARLY on Christmas eve.
Wow, the city of Fredericton went all out this year.👎
